My Story

Hi, I'm Ro - the maker behind String Things by Ro! I started crocheting when I was younger, creating scarves as gifts for friends and family. Over time, my passion grew, and so did my skills - I soon expanded into making hats, ponchos, and eventually began sewing.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I made over 3,000 face masks (yes, really!), many paired with matching scrunchies as part of fun and functional gift sets. It turns out people loved having a little style - even at work! From there, I branched out into tote bags, crossbody bags, zipper pouches, and more.

I still love gifting my handmade creations to family and friends, and I also enjoy sharing them at local farmers markets and events. Every piece from String Things by Ro is made with care, creativity, and love for all things handmade. Thank you for visiting my shop and supporting what I do!
